Kevin Brown, Forefront’s President, is an entrepreneur with over 23 years of experience in the Information Technology field, most of which has been spent supporting the US government. He has excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and is a team player. Prior to co-founding Forefront in 2010, Kevin worked for Lockheed Martin, Duer Advanced Technology & Aerospace, and the US Government.
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. While working full-time, he continued his education; earning an M.S. in Information Technology from the University of Maryland, an MBA from the University of Baltimore, and a Graduate Certificate in Financial Management from the University of Maryland. Kevin has several technical certifications; including: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Red Hat Certified Systems Engineer, and Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator.
Some interesting facts about Kevin are that he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1996, and was a 4 year member of the University of Maryland Marching Band and Pep Band. He played trumpet with the Maryland Pep Band at many NCAA tournament games from 1997-2001. To this day, he is an avid Maryland Terps fan and attends all of the home football games with his 3 children.
